Caixa Central has become aware of the incorporation of a commercial company in the United Kingdom under the name Caixa Central de Crédito Agrícola Mútuo, Ltd, which allegedly has as its corporate purpose the pursuit of economic activities, banking activity, investment and custody services, financial and leasing activities, and financial management services.

We hereby inform that this entity is in no way associated with the Crédito Agrícola Group. It was incorporated independently and is using the name Caixa Central without prior knowledge or authorization, and in a clearly abusive manner.

In light of this, these facts have already been reported by Caixa Central to the judicial authorities and the national regulator.

We strongly advise all our Members, Clients, and the general public that, should they be contacted by this entity for any reason – including, but not limited to, the provision or acquisition of alleged banking, investment or other financial services – they must not provide any personal or financial information, not access any websites or links, not open or download any files requested or received from the entity, and always verify the authenticity of any communication via the official channels of the Crédito Agrícola Group.
